- This is the first episode where Dallas McKennon voices Pokey, taking over the role from series creator Art Clokey. McKennon would continue to be Pokey's primary voice actor until the late 1960s when the role would be shared between Clokey, McKennon and Norma MacMillan.
- Additionally, this is the only episode where Dallas McKennon voices Gumbo (in the original 1960s soundtrack), rather than his regular voice actor (again, Art Clokey).
